THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW
A Fischer Booklet.
J. & C. Fischer have just issued a new-
booklet entitled: "Public Opinion and In-
dorsement are the Outcome of Public Con-
fidence." It contains a number of strong
voluntary testimonials received during the
past four months. All are well worthy of
reproduction. The following are among
the most hearty of these valuable com-
mendatory letters:
FROM LEO KOFLER,
ORGANIST
AND CHOIR-
MASTER O F S T . P A U L ' S C H U R C H ,
TRINITY
PARISH, N. Y.
Gentlemen: The two Fischer Grands,
one of which is in my home and the other
in daily use in the choir room of St. Paul's
Church, Trinity Parish, of which I am
organist, meet with the warmest praise.
Your Grands have a singing quality in the
tone which is much admired, and a voice-
sustaining power which the singer appre-
ciates. As an adjunct of the vocal studio
it is unequalled. From the vocal teacher's
point of view it is perfection. I very
much admire the Fischer Grand and con-
sider it one of the best high grade pianos.
Very respectfully,
Leo Kofler.
New York, May 31st, 1899.
FROM HAMILTON INSTITUTE,
NEW 1 YORK.
Gentlemen: We use the Fischer Upright
Piano in our Institute, and are delighted
with the tone and action. It is a beautiful
Piano, worthy of the highest encomiums
which can be bestowed upon it. In spite
of hard usage, it keeps in tune remarkably
well. All success to you.
Very truly yours,
N. Archibald Shaw, Jr.,
Principal and Proprietor.

A BIG THING FOR THE TRADE
The Wonder Self-Composer
(PATENT APPLIED FOR)
Not a toy, but a remarkable invention by which any
person can write hundreds of different marches (two-
step) for piano or organ without previous knowledge
of musical composition. Read what great composers
sav about it:
JOHN PHILIP SOUSA:
" It is an unique and marvelous in-
vention."
FRED N. INNES:
" The most clever musical device I
have ever seen."
ALEJANDRO LIBERATI:
'' I congratulate the inventor. The
SELF-COMPOSER is all that is claimed
for it."
D. W. REEVES:
"An instructive and meritorious in-
vention that should create a large
demand."
