THE Brambach Piano Company, Dolgeville,
intend to make several Improvements in their
piano during the coming year.
CRAWFORD, EBERSOLE & SMITH (Smith &
Nixon), Cincinnati, report having sold some-
thing over four thousand pianos during the
year '94.
E. S. CONWAY, of the W. W. Kimball Com-
pany, made a flying trip to Washington and
Philadelphia last week, and was highly pleased
with the condition of business at the Kimball
branch houses.
MR. CARL BRAMBACH, who was formerly con-
nected with the Estey Piano Company in Har-
lem, has moved to Dolgeville, N. Y.

J. G. BEACH has opened a new music store at
28 West Main street, Chillicothe, O., and is pre-
pared to receive catalogues from manufacturers
of pianos and music publishers.
PETER GEAGER. 39 years old, a pianoraaker,
living at 525 Wist 49th street, quarreled with
his wife Louise at their home Christmas night
and shot her. He was held for examination in
$500 bail.
MR. F. S. CHANDLER, of Chicago, who was in
partnership with Mr. C. C. Curtiss, of the
Manufacturers' Piano Company twenty years
ago, is dead. He was a music engraver, and
well known to the trade.
MR. HOLMES has been replaced as manager of
the Wissner Piano Company's branch in Jersey
City by Mr. Boothe, of Brooklyn.
THE piano making department of the West-
ern Cottage Organ Company is under the super -
intendency of Mr. Corl, formerly of Corl & Con-
nell, Oregon, 111.
MR. F. G. SMITH, JR , has returned from his
extended Western trip.
THE Mason & Hamlin Co., Boston, have sent
us a tasteful calendar for 1895, which merits
the prominent place accorded it in this office.
THE Steck piano was used at the recent meet-
ing of the Pennsylvania Music Teachers' Associ-
ation, of which Mr. J. H. Kurzenknabe, of Har-
risburg, is president.
Diamond Hard Oil Polish is used for Polishing, Reviving and Clean-
