MARKETPLACE
NEWSLETIER
PAGE 6, JULY 30, 1975
It has always been one of the outstanding pleasures of "Marketplace", ever since
its inception, to report as well as to publish pictures of equipment donations
to worthwhile organizations of all kinds. The above is such a picture.
From left to right: Ray Hibarger, president of Hanson Distributing Co., of
Bloomington,Minn.; Norm Pink of Advance Music Co., Minneapolis, Minn., past
president of Music Operators of Minnesota; Bruce Graves from the Upper Midwest
American Indian Center; Mayor Al Hofsteade of Minneapolis and Police Captain
Bruce Lindberg.
Mayor Al Hofsteade is receiving keys from Norman Pink of Advance Music Co., who
donated a juke box, one of five juke boxes Advance Music has donated in the past
twelve months to various Police and Communities Activities Projects, along with
keys for a Tournament Soccer Foozball, the second such game donated by Ra.y Hibarger
and Hanson Distributing Co.
The tremendous enjoyment such donations give can only be matched by the truly
marvelous public relations they bring to all engaged in the industry, not only in
the local area but all over the state and into surrounding states. Every associa-
tion in the industry should set up a committee to arrange for such donations to
charitable, social and civic organizations.
The pages of "Marketplace" are always open to publish such pictures to acclaim
and honor all vho make such donations for the better future welfare of all engaged
in this industry.

Future scanning projects are planned by the International Arcade Museum Library (IAML).
