Here's the first all-electric baseball pinball presented to the industry 41 yea.rs ago by
long gone Pacific Amusement Mfg.Co.,Chica.go. It was an absolutely tremendous hit. The
balls actually ran the bases . A very thrilling game . It was Harry Willia.ms' first base-
ball game a.s mentioned in our editorio.l, ptige 2, this issue. "Major League" by Harry
Wil ia.ms follo.,,ed the first all-electric pinball ever built, "Contact", also designed by
Harry Williams. There's just no way to describe the sensation ".Major League" created cx-
c~pt~ perhaps, to report that, since this game was shipped all over the world, that Harry
W1ll1ams was among the very first to help popularize baseball worldwide. Purther, this was
the ad of the late Joe Calcutt, leading slot distributor and operator of his day. The very
fA.~t Joe halted sales of slots to sell "Major League" gives some idea of how really great
this game was all over the nation.

Future scanning projects are planned by the International Arcade Museum Library (IAML).
