Dear Sir;
I noticed in your Dec. issue under "States Having Legalized An
tique Slot Machines" section, you have the state of Mississippi
shown to be legal. I have not heard of this before and seeing Mis
sissippi is at my back door, this would be good news? A little
more information would be appreciated in reference to dates, etc.

Dear Keith;
According to Mississippi State Law, Criminal Statutes 97-33-7,
it is illegal to own or operate a slot machine for profit. Test legal
cases have established the private right to own slot machines pro
vided they are for display or amusement only. Test cases were
judicial decisions of King versus McClory, 179M162, 175 Fo 193
and State versus Stigler, 179M276, 175 Fo 194.
