June 23 was a red· letter day for Southern
California music men, because on that
night Bill Leuenhagen and Mary Solie
staged their second successful record pre·
view party at the Rodger Young Audi-
torium and gave operators a first-hand
listen to tunes which may be big money-
makers in the weeks hence. Bill Anson,
famed disc jockey, and Ted Mossman,
equally famous as a composer, once again
teamed their talents to spark a brilliant
show, attended by a full house. Personal
appearances by the Ames Brothers (Coral)
and Rex Allen (Mercury) added zest to
the evening's entertainment. Labels pre-
viewed included M-G-M, Fanfare, Central,
Selective, King, Modem, Castle, Specialty,
Aladdin, Exclusive and Tower.

complete in the West. The firm has also
added four hand trucks to speed service.
Bill Happel, head of the firm, said: "With
our central location and complete stock of
