That the industry needs a well organized
assocIatIOn goe without saying and the
solution likely lies in the hiring of a pro·
fessional grou p schooled in association
work, with proper lobbying in Washington,

and solve problems of the industry. There
are many association organizations of this
type functioning very satisfactorily for
some of our largest industries. Favoritisms,
jealousies and other petty nu isances are
thus eliminated from the beginning; a flat
fee is collected and the supporters of the
association know their set yearly expense in
advance.
