matic Phonograph Operators' Association
has been set for October 24th at the Wal·
dorf·Astoria hotel. A large turnout is ex·
pected to enjoy the full bill of superb en·
tertainment promised.

Ike Berman, of Economy Supply, has
opened a branch office in Baltimore under
the management of Jack Berman .
Minoco Productions held a party in early
October to celebrate the completion of their
400th Soundie for use on coin· operated
movi"e machines. At the same time Minoco
announced plans for the production of their
first fea ture·length production-a picture
with a patriotic theme. Jack Barry is presi·
dent of Minoco.
Mike Munves still claims title of "Arcade
King" and states he is shipping large quan·
tides of arcade equipment all over the coun·
try. An artist just in from Europe is assist·
ing Munves in reconditioning the arcade
pieces. The same artist is responsible for
the "Trap the Jap" conversion Munves is
featuring at present.
