gas ra tioning in this area, as announced on
Novemb er 10th, didn' t make any of the
co in machine fraternity on e bit sorry. Mos t
of th e boys have b een scratchin g their
noggins plenty, wonderin g just how they
were goin g to co ntinue to keep up se rvice
on the ir ro utes. Onl y tim e, and a hefty
bunch of properl y fill ed out ap plica ti ons for
B and C cards, will do th e trick.

J erry Frye, former employee of Badger
Novelty in Milwaukee, and now in the Ma·
rines, was given a full day party by Bill
Happel and Herman Schmidt of Badger
Sales wh en Jerry had a recent Sunday off.
Not all the scales tell the truth , accord·
. in g to a findin g of County Sealer of Weights
and Measures Charles M. Fuller. In a re·
cent check of 3557 personal weighing scales
Fuller sa id his department found that 1010
needed adjustments to make them fun ction
accurately. 580 were found to be out of
order and 19 were seized as unfit for use.
