LOS ANGELES - There really must be
someth ing in the importance of names,
says Paul A. Laymon, distributor, who dis-
agrees wi th the old adage, "A rose by any
other name would smell as sweet," and
points to " Knocko ut" as his proof.
"We've been practically bowled over in
th e rush of orders for Exhibit's Knock-
Out," says Laymon. "And Genco's Zig Zag
is zig-zagging righ t along to the tip top
peak of popularity, too."
The Laymon service departmen t is larger
by two, new members, George Kelly, for-
merly of E. T. Mape Music Co., and Fran-
cis Ray, once on the roster of the Con oli-
da ted Novelty Co. An old-timer compared
to Kelly and Ray, another recent service
man is Harry McGuire.
"We're everyone of us busy . .. old and
new members of the organiza tion," Paul
reports. "Everybody is happy . . . lots of
orders pouring in . . . operators especially
going for specials offered. Just one of those
pleasant, good business eras."

"Has this car been used much?"
"No, my wife hasn't driven more than
10,000 words in it."
She had mastered all the simple tricks
of driving the car and th ey decided to try
a trip on a country road. The proud hus-
band was about to relax when out of the
clear blue she squeaked, "Quick, John!
Ta ke the wheel! Here comes a tree!"
