AS PROUD A FLAG AS INDUSTRY CAN FLY
Signifying 9 0 Perccnt or M ore Employee Participation in the Pay-Roll Savings Plan
IT doesn’t go into the smoke of battle, but
wherever you see this flag you know that it spells
Victory for our boys on the fighting fronts. To
everyone, it means that the firm which flies it has
attained 90 percent or more employee participa
tion in the Pay-Roll Savings Plan . . . that their
employees are turning a part of their earnings
into tanks and planes and guns regularly, every
pay day, through the systematic purchase of
U. S. W ar Bonds.
You don’t need to be engaged in war production
activity to fly this flag. Any patriotic firm can
qualify and make a vital contribution to Victory
by making the Pay-Roll Savings Plan available
to its employees, and by securing 90 percent or
more employee participation. Then notify your
State Defense Savings Staff Administrator that
you have reached the goal. He w ill tell you
how you may obtain your flag.
If your firm has already installed the Pay-Roll
Savings Plan, now is the time to increase your
efforts: (1) To secure wider participation and
reach the 90-percent goal; (2) to encourage
employees to increase their allotments until 10
percent or more of your gross pay roll is sub
scribed for Bonds. “Token” allotments will
not win this war any more than “token” resist
ance w ill keep our enemies from our shores,
our homes. If your firm has yet to install the
Plan, remember, TIM E IS SHORT.
Write or wire for fu ll facts and literature on instal
ling your Pay-Roll Savings Plan now. Address
