It’s a good outfit, and I am
frank to say that I wouldn’t even
try to interfere with any rela
tions you may have with them.
But let me suggest that it is
not always best for your inter
est to have all your eggs in one
basket.
You know that one
operator cannot furnish you
with all the newest machines.
If you want to avoid getting
into a rut due to having only
one type of machine, you should
maintain contact with and get
service from another reliable
vending organization. When you
do that, it’s no act of disloyalty
to your regular operator. You
are merely availing vourself of

is to go out of our way to give
the finest type of service. You
can certainly depend on my do
ing just that. Our one-rate
and a square deal for all works
the best all around.
“ There Is No D e m a n d For
Y o u r M a c h in e ’s Service.”
That remains to be seen. Such
a statement doesn’t mean a
thing. It sounds like the old
saw: “Which comes first, the
egg or the chicken?” Demand is
the result of appeal. It’s a state
of mind. Demand is almost al
ways created by the novelty, ap
pearance, and convenience of
the machine. Everything you’ve
got to sell in your place did not
have a demand until you stocked
them and served them in a man
ner to please your customers.
Don’t overlook the fact that the
store owner with imagination
who can see the demand he can
develop for any particular pro
duct or service, deserves the
credit for making a success.
Your customers will be delighted
to see a new or different ma
chine in your store. All that is
