UNIT CONSTRUCTION
a complete self-contained unit,
Every m a jo r m ec h an ism of

which may be quickly
removed for cleaning without disturbing other parts. Likewise the
entire mechanism assembly may be instantly removed from the cabinet
as a single unit.
PRECISION CONSTRUCTION
Every BALLY BELL
part is a precision stamping or screw-machine product, manufactured
from new dies and tools . . . and machined to microscopic accuracy.
Parts from any BALLY BELL are guaranteed interchangeable with
parts from any other BALLY BELL, regardless of serial number.
STURDY CONSTRUCTION The precision ot BALLY
BELL parts is matched by the rugged strength of material employed.
The vast treasure-house of modern metallurgical science was explored
by Bally engineers to find the proper material for each part . . . and
to insure trouble-free performance under all operating conditions and
all climatic conditions.
SIMPLE CONSTRUCTION Wordscannot dojU6ticelo
the “stripped-for-action” simplicity of BALLY BELL. But the fact
that BALLY BELL contains only one-third as many springs as the
average bell is emphatic evidence of the smooth simplicity which
insures freedom from service grief.
IMPROVED COIN-MECHANISM
the finest coin-mechanism ever developed in the bell field. Escalator is
a revolutionary new positive-feed type in which each coin is gripped
separately and thus held apart, absolutely preventing coins from
overlapping or jamming. Bent coins cannot enter the escalator and
are easily removed from the coin-head. Each coin-mechanism is a
complete self-contained unit.
IMPROVED REELS
Each reel is a unit . . . complete with
corresponding star-wheel and payout cam; and the three reels
are assembled on one shaft, thus eliminating the nuisance of “ telescope ’
tube shafts. Operators who have serviced loose bearings and hubs on
ordinary bells will welcome the simplicity, ruggedness and positive
performance of the BALLY BELL single-shaft assembly.
POSITIVE STOPS
Thanks to a new positive stopping
device, the BALLY BELL reels come to a sharp, snappy stop . . .
instead of the jerky, jumpy, “hesitating” stop which crea.es unfavorable
suspicion in the minds of players. Reels, however, stop one at a time
at intervals timed for maximum suspense.
POSITIVE PAYOUTS
Absolutely accurate, one hundred
per cent jam-proof. Instead of merely moving out of the way and
allowing coins to drop, the BALLY BELL slides actually select the
correct number of coins and propel them out of the machine by a
positive forward motion which eliminates any possibility of jamming.
Each payout mechanism is a complete self-contained unit.
POSITIVE JACK-POTS
Although the simplest jack-pot
mechanism ever developed, the BALLY BELL jack-pot is positive and
unfailing in operation . . . and one hundred per cent tamper-proof.
BALLY BELL jack-pots cannot be jarred, “spooned” or manipulated
with wires or magnets. Each jack-pot is a complete self-contained unit.
REINFORCED HANDLE
with
an easy grip that invites play.
Strongest bell handle ever built,
TAMPER-PROOF CABINET
Although the streamlined
frontcasting fits into the wood cabinet without clumsy outside over
lapping, inside flanges positively prevent tampering. Back-door is one
hundred per cent pry-proof and fitted with extra strong pick-proof lock.
INTERLOCKING SAFETY DEVICE
Exclusive
BALLY BELL feature, operating like a combination-lock on a bank
vault to prevent possibility of payout when proper coin is not deposited.
