NOW THIS IS H O W IT WORKS
necessary to build the fine
mechanism of a Mills machine,
necessitating workmanship of
the highest type. These parts
are assembled in much the
same process that automobiles
are put together. Each min
ute part of the machine is
put on in a separate operation
and the device is then passed
on for another operation. If
the machine is not put together
perfectly up to that point it is
immediately sent back to the
previous station where the job
MUST be redone to insure the
purchaser a machine perfectly
constructed.
Bert Mills explains the money-producing qualities and the play
er appeal of the Mills Big Race to Charlie Casmus. “ Yes, Char
lie” he advises with assurance, “ you’ll never want for dough in
the sock if you play your bankroll on Mills’ Big Races; it is a
cinch that you’ll get your money back before you know it.”
“ It is therefore not hard to
understand why the Mills Coin
Machines have such a fine rec
ord for mechanical perfection
when it is learned that these
inspections and double-checks
are made before the machines
are given an Okea,” says Miss
Desplenter, of the Mills Adver
tising Department.
Mills Machines Inspected Fifty-Seven Times

machines have been looked
over and inspected fifty-seven
different times, one time for
each distinct operation, are they

again by Joe Liska’s boys avid
ly searching for some flaw. In
this manner a Mills Coin Ma
chine is certain to satisfy each
and every purchaser.
