Rabkin Receives
Merited Recognition
A recent issue of the Literary Di
gest devoted considerable space to an
article about the history of William
(Bill) Rabkin and the products which
he has developed through the Inter
national Mutoscope Company. The ar
ticle is also significant in that it
July, 1937
grants recognition to the coin ma
chine industry as the parent of the
motion picture industry.
The International Mutoscope Com
pany does an international business
with their Bowl-a-Game, Pokerino,
Test-o-Graph,
Photomatic,
Hurdle-
Hop, Magic Finger and Punch-a-Bay.
Bill Rabkin has become famous as
the man who originated the digger
game.

Rabkin is constantly developing
new coin operated amusement devices.
His latest development is a coin op
erated emotion meter. This machine
is set to gauge the emotional strength
of a man or woman.
There is a dial
which can be set for Man or Woman.
The palm of the hand of the patron
of the machine is placed upon a metal

When the coin is dropped in
the slot, a light flashes on a light up
board, which is graduated to show the
various emotional depths of a human
being.
If the patron is not satisfied
with the emotional degree registered,
they may play more coins and en
deavor to raise their emotional status.

A knowledge of practical psychol
ogy is one of Rabkin’s chief assets.
He has learned that men will patron
