SEPTEMBER, 1931
S E P T E M E R — the Fall Opening Number. With
our new schedule of issue this number reaches
the trade at one of the most opportune times of
the year to do considerate boosting. We. are in
viting the attention of the trade in this issue to
the old standbys, the basic venders of the trade—
penny and nickel machines for vending candy,
nuts and gum.- It is a deliberate effort to boost
these machines by an i7itelligent consideration of
their place in the trade and the opportunities that
exist for expansion with these v e n d e r s I t is pos
sible to give, the trade a “ lift” when everybody
concentrates upon the same ideas and begin to
work toward a common end.- Furthermore, there
are some distinct opportunities now available.
Thus far in 1931 we have devoted one. issue to
boosting refrigerated vending machines; another
to giving a boost for amusement machines. The
October issue will be the Old-Timer’ s Special—
good words for those, firms that have been with
us for two years or more. November will give
special attention to musical instruments and
scales. And December will give attention to
what’s new, the many unusual coin devices, special
types of machines, etc., that have appeared dur
ing 1931— in fact a final review of the year Now
join with us in giving a boost for the basic vend
ers of the trade— the penny and nickel venders
for candy, nuts and gum.
