One o f the oustanding characters
o f the coin-machine trade is Thomas
W atling, o f the W atling Manufactur­
ing Co.
Mr. W atling is the father o f eleven
children, and when he started out
he made up his mind to quit working
at fifty, and. every time the stork
perched on his fence, he said, “ Well,
I ’ll have to increase my incom e” —
and he did. And when he reached
the fifty mark, he was just beginning
to like his job, and he is still in the
harness.
