PINBALL GAME TRANSPCRI'
we recomrend that transport of games to
game sites be done with the backbox
lowered, resting on a protective cushion
on the top of the cabinet. we also
reconmend that the game should be
protected from direct sunlight during
transport (or storage) of the game, as
well as at the game site. Heat from
prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause
the playfield plastics to warp, and may
cause fading of the playfield colors. We
encourage you to take care of your games
to keep them earning. An unattractive game
(faded colors, warped plastics, etc.)
lacks the earning potential that a clean,
brightly colored game has.
PINBM..L GAME AOOUS'IMEN1'S
Take time to adjust your game's playfield
pitch angle. Clean the playfield and the
glass. Check your audits for game play
info (as well as your income), and
consider how you might change these game
play factors slightly to increase your
income, while keeping the game play alnost
as challenging as before. Factory settings
are ONLY a beginning, from which you can
'fine tune' your game to each site, for
maxinum income.
cnmr
Protective brackets for the cnmr Ranp
entrance and exit areas are available from
your distributor. The entrance ranp
bracket is p/n Ol-8343i the exit ranp
bracket is p/n 01-8331. Using them will
extend the life of your C01ET Ramp, and
your game will not have the "downtime"
(loss of earnings) associated with a
damaged ranp. Reducing "downtime"
increases your chances for HIGHER DIDm.
SYSTEM 11 GAMF.S
(High Speed, Grand Lizard)
Occasional occurrences of "resetting" or
"locking up" of games using the System 11
CPU have been reported. In many cases, a
broken diode or a shorted diode in the
flipper circuit has been associated with
these reports. We reconmend checking the
flipper coil diodes for problens·.
The PLAYER

RAVEN by Premier.
Now here's a machine this player found to
be rather fun to play. Besides having one
of the hottest backglass pictures to come
along in a long tine (Ranbo \\10Uld be
proud), this player liked the nunber of
shots to go for and how they were set up.
The playing field is set up for fast
action, with the top four bunpers having
strong reaction power.
RAVEN has two bottom flippers which, I
feel, make this game. I found them to be
in top shape, spaced fairly apart with
good rubber around them and had great
reaction to my fingers! Many a ball is
saved from going down the middle as a
result of these flippers. The nultiplier
advance starts at lX and goes up to 8X
value (something I cannot recall seeing
before), which can give the player nice
bonus points after each ball. RAVEN offers
a Free-ball shot and a Special shot with
the flipper skill making these a fair
challenge.
My only con-plaint is the design of the Top
Ramp shot. Wlenever the ball \\10uld go down
the right side ranp, it would just bounce
off the back section of the ramp and miss
the .Mvance Multiplier hole.
score setting was at 1,400,000 for your
first game and 2,800,000 for the second.
It's nice to be able to go for a second
score game, however, 2,800,000, I felt,
was high.
Maybe they expect Ranbo to play it!
Play on. . . Root.
