Bally Sente Main Frame Cable Mod
units nanufactured prior to "this" cable
change must be rrodified for proper mME
THAT TUNE game operation. This includes:
Sac I, Sac IA, Sac IB (made prior to cable
rrodification), Sac Man and the cocktail
main frame.

The following rrodification MUST be
performed on all Sente nain frame cables
that work in conjunction with the NAME
THAT TUNE conversion kit.
A quick way to determine if the cable
rrodification has been made is to look at
the Power Supply connector Pl9 at pins 10
and 11. If a GREEN-wHITE wire is connected
to pin 10 and a GREEN-RED wire is
connected to pin 11, the rrodification has
been installed. See Figure "A".
Failure to nake this rrodification may
result in garbage on screen or the picture
may freeze intermittantly.

Each NAME THAT TUNE kit contains a "naster
cable kit", which includes two wires for
installation into your respective Bally
Sente main frarre cable.
If not, then the naster cable asserrbly
rrust be rrodified, using the mME THAT 'IUNE
master cable kit as follows:
The pur:[X)se of this cable rrodification is
to replace the regulated +12 v.n.c. with
unregulated +12 v.n.c. to your respective
main frarre cable. This change will provide
a +12 v.n.c. unregulated buss line to the
mME THAT TUNE control i:anel, player one
and player two lamps.
A. Cut the GREEN-wHITE or GREEN wire at
location "K" of cable connector P7 (22
:[X>Sition). Then strip "this" wire for
later use with wire nut. Please cut as
close as :[X>ssible to the connector.
B. Connect the cable kit GREEN-WHITE wire
from the Power Supply connector Pl9, Pin
10, to the GREEN-WIUTE or GREEN wire you
cut at location "K" of cable connector P7.
After both wires are stripped and joined
together, install the wire nut provided in

location "L" of cable connector P7. Then
strip "this" wire for later use with wire
nut. Please cut as cose as possible to the
connector.
D. Connect the cable kit GREEN-RED wire
from the Power Supply connector P19, Pin
11, to the GREEN-RED or GREEN wire you cut
at location "L" of cable connector P7.
After both wires are stripped and joined
together, install the wire nut provided in
the cable kit.
!Ol'E: Do Not connect the kit wire to
position "L".
E. Install cable ties.
