HE PIANO
....is Coming
A recent survey among bankers, merchandising counsel and department store exec-
utives, in all parts of the country, presents the wide-spread opinion that the piano is
coming back.
We, in the industry, who have been battling with unfavorable public opinion in re-
cent years, know this to be true. Sales, for the past nine months, have shown a
definite forward trend. Prospects for continued progress are most encouraging.
It, therefore, behooves the alert piano dealer to survey his own position and de-
termine how to benefit most from today's new opportunities.
To this man, Baldwin presents the following pertinent facts:
The Baldwin financial position, as evidenced by our financial statement, is absolutely
sound. We have not pledged a singls dollar of dealers' or other paper. We have
ample cash resources to finance with our own capital all the good new business
any dealer can obtain.
Our factory inventories are larger than at any time in recent years. This insures a
steady—not hurried—progression of pianos through the factories and a prompt
shipment of dealers' orders.
Quality—in all our well-known trade names—has been amazingly improved. Our
workmen are skilled and experienced by reason of their steady employment dur-
ing the past four years. The testing and inspection of materials is more than ever
rigorous. Our experimental and research departments have been continuously
maintained. Thousands of dollars have been invested in new machinery and equip-
ment. New dry kilns, recentlyinstalled, are the finest money can buy.
Our prices, quality considered, are more than full value to today's discriminating
purchaser and enable our dealers to add steadily to their satisfied customers. Ask
any Baldwin dealer.
Baldwin factory representatives visit all sections of the country regularly to help
our dealers do a better business. If you are not a Baldwin dealer, we invite you to
join with us today and spread the word to all your prospects—"The Piano Is Com-
ing Back. Buy today while prices are low."
