display rooms of the company, having been on the
market for several months, the new model Gulbran-
sen Small Grand, four feet six inches, was a center
of interest. This is undoubtedly one of the outstand-
ing values in the small grand field, and the word of
its exceptional qualities has spread over the country
so that there were many who took the opportunity of

The resolution of National Piano Playing Contest
passed by Executive Board of National Association
of Music Merchants Thursday, June 9, was as fol-
lows :
Be it Resolved: That we favor the development
of a National Piano Playing Contest under the
auspices of the National Association of Music Mer-
chants and desire to encourage all associations
throughout the country to put on Piano Playing Con-
tests, to the end of developing a national contest at
an earlv date.

Gene Redewill and Theodore Kress Provide Program
for Club of Business Men.
Last week the Norwegian Fish Luncheon Club,
which meets every Thursday noon at the Bismarck
Hotel, Chicago, called upon the Gulbransen Company
for entertainment. The invitation was responded to
by Gene Redewill and Theodore Kress, of the Rede-
will Music Company, Phoenix, Ariz., and the Gul-
bransen Registering Piano on Thursday noon. The
Norwegian Fish Luncheon Club is composed of
