There soon will be two arcades operating
in Redford Township while controversy
about them continues.

ed a film about video games and arcades
that eased their apprehensions.
"I think it's a very objective look at the
pros and cons of video games and ar-
cades even though it is produced by the
Atari Co., (sic) a video game manufac-
turer, said Kelly. "It eased my mind a lit-
tie about the development of arcades in
Redford.
The 15-minute feature is scheduled for
airing at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday on

We do appreciate hearing from you. It
lets us know that you're still out there
alive and well and in the games business.
If you have any interesting, newsworthy
story to relate, please write us so we can
share it in print. Let us know what's hap-
pening "in the field."
Dear Atari,
My partner and I own an Atari Centipede
video game. We'd like to congratulate
you on a superior product!
While moving -our game from one loca-
tion to another, we had an accident. The
game tipped over from an upright position
and went crashing to the ground on its
front. We thought for sure we had just
'killed' our best game. Upon inspection,
however, nothing appeared broken, so
we plugged it in. To our amazement the
screen came on, so we put in a quarter.
It played as though nothing had happened!
Not only is your Centipede game
popu lar, but sturdy and well built. I'm
sure you don't put your products through
such harsh test conditions, but thought
you'd like to know that we think our
money was well spent.

Sincerely,
Beverly Ball
