THE ROSS SCALE
The First and Only Low Platform Scale
in the World
There is no platform obstruction, allowing free
movement around the scale with no danger of
stumbling over the platform. This fact per-
mits of a much greater choice of operating
locations. The platform at the highest point is
only one and one-quarter inches high and is
beveled on the sides to only one-sixteenth_ of an
inch.
.~.
T
HE ROSS SCALE will weigh accurately from one
pound to three hundred pounds and permits the patron
to stand in any position on the weighing platform without
destroying the accuracy_ Through a very carefully devised
mechanism it is impossib le for two people to weigh on one
coin. The radial dial is at the tOp of the scale and in sllch a
position that only the person weighing is able to read it.
The entire scale is made weather-proof and may stand in
water four to six inches deep without rusting or in any way
impairing the accuracy. The large coin box in the back has
a double lock, one on the outside and a hea vy locked steel
box on the inside, minimizing the possibility of theft.
