How to Play Shoot-A-Ball---Four Can Play for 5c
The game is played in the following man ner : By drop-
ping a nickel in the slot a n d turning the handle you are
delivered a.utomatically twelve balls. With a cue t he
game is ready to be played. The balls are divided up
according to the number of players. You place a ball
at the end of the chute. With a skillful stroke you
shoot the ball up the incl ine, which t r avels according to
the speed of your shot. If the ball misses the one base
hit, the two base hit and so on, it automatically b ecomes
an out and the ball disappears, ringing a bell indicating
out. If the ball is shot into any of the top holes, which
indicate hits, an electric light is flashed on and a buzzer
is sounded. indicating or recording the hit. There are
twelve little miniature men. Before shooting the ba.ll
UP into the chute you place a man on the diamond at
Horne Base, which indicates "Batter Up." If you make
a hit, you move the man to first base, second base, or
thir·d base, according to the hit, and continue to shoot.
On a.ll hits you get another shot, as the ball is automatic-
ally returned to you. A score is kept and the player
making the most runs wins the game. Remember, four
can play this fascinating game. Never before such real
entertainment given for a nickel.
