PROBLEM
The optical components of a
Jukebox CBA-2 need to be
cleaned regularly to remove air-
borne contaminants such as tar,
nicotine, and grease. If the bill ac-
ceptance has degraded signifi-
cantly or if the Bill Acceptor is
shutdown with
three blinks it
should be cleaned.
How TO CLEAN
THE CBA-2
Perform the fol-
lowing steps in the
order given to re-
store a CBA-2 to
normal service.
1. Turn the power OFF to the

2. Unplug the cable that connects
the CBA-2 to theJuke.box.
3. Unlatch the CBA-2 and slide
it out of the Jukebox.
4. Remove the 4 hex head screws
holding the CBA-2 to the slide

6. Remove the CBA-2 inlet.
7. VERY CAREFULLY unplug
all harnesses connected to the
CBA-2 logic board. CAUTION

10. Clean the V3 LED and the
V2 cell on the long green board
in the same manner.
9. Dip a Qtip into glass cleaner
and thoroughly clean the V3 cell

1. Hook the inlet end of the long
green board over
the vertical post.
Gently seat the cir-
cuit board making
sure that it is latched .
properly (see figure
2).
2. Reassemble the
CBA-2 by installing
the logic board, the
inlet and all har-
nesses.
