STEPS TO CORRECT
WIRING PROBLEM
NOTE
SOLUTION
This bulletin applies to the
Daytona LE Games only.
Perform the test listed below, and
follow the appropriate instruc-
tions.
• 1. Tui:n power off. Open the PC
L bqa:rd cage and locate the I/O
j board (837~10539)
No feedback from the steering
motor.
1. Put machine into "Drive BD
Test"
2. Locate CN5 ancl unplug it
from the board (See figure 1)
CAUSE
2. Read the value next to the line
"Handle=". If it is "FF" then pro-
ceed with the steps below. If the
value is at or near "80" then your
machine is fine, and no correc-
tion is necessary.
3. Move the White/Black wire
. from Pin 11 of the connector to
Pin 12, (See figure 2}
PROBLEM
Mis-wiring of the connector at
CNS of the 1/0 board.
4. Re~jnstall the conµector, and
• power up your machine to verify
proper operation. Close up ma-
chine.

Be sure that there is
no wire at pin 11 and a
White Wire with a Black Stripe
at pin 12.
