PROBLEM
Long range opto error during
game play. (Note: Not during ser-
vice tests).
GAME
Four and Single Player Pogger.
PROBLEM
SYMPTOM
When the pinball is turned on, it
will cause auto loading of the
trapped ball on the lower right
hand trap where the ball gets
dragged across the play field.
This will happen when the game
is started every time.
CAUSE/ SoumoN
When ball is loaded into right
hand side trough, the ball will rest
on the metal bracket and will not
break the infrared beam being
transmitted by the transmitter
diode. Therefore, take the
bracket and reform it up so that
the ball is breaking the IR beam.
1979 - 1995
Some of our customers have ex-
perienced excessive wear on the
turntable belt and/ or a burned
out turntable motor.
CAUSE
We believe this is due to high
pressure applied to the turntable
by the tension wheel. The tension
wheel assembly is located along
the edge of the turntable. It has a
spring attached at one end and a
roller wheel on the other.
SoLUTION/PRocEDURE
With the belt removed and by
hand, you should be able to turn
the table freely. If not, you must
move the eyebolt anchoring the
spring until the table spins freely.

T AITO REFOCUSES EFFORTS ON COIN-OP
Taito America Corp, a subsidiary of the
world's largest manufacturer and opera-
tor of coin-operated arcade games and
a major player in the home video game
software arena, is repositioning its ef-
forts in America.
Rather than develop consumer game
software for the many hardware formats
competing in today's marketplace, th
company is focusing its business plan
on the booming arcade and family fun
center establishments.
