Display will lock up on one pic-
ture and stay there or blank out
completely.

This will occur because of signals
(with the display data) coming
from the CPU to the display, get
processed a little faster than the
display can handle. Therefore,
when a refresh signal occurs, it
may not be at the appropriate
time when the next on-coming
data is ready to be processed for
the display. The display gets con-
fused and locks up. Component
tolerances and their speed at
which they process the data
maybe a factor as well. These are
usually isolated incidents and can
be corrected by software.
Change your version LAI U6 on
the CPU to LA2. This software
update can be acquired from
your distributor. See figure 1 for
Prom location.
NoTE
Not all pinballs will have this
problem therefore if your pinball
is working - this fix does not ap-
ply to you.
