SUBJECT
Are you tired of working on
Wacky Gator gators?
Ball continues to be held by Mag-
net (in ball lock area) long after
magnet de-magnetizes.
The original pink and blue Lethal
Enforcer guns are your worst
nightmare, but they are repair-
able. You just need a special
driver to remove the cap head
screws.
SOLUTION
Well, try this: Remove the mallet
and let players use their hands
and then reduce ticket payout
because you'll see higher scores.
We did ... and it works!

CAUSE
Mylar covering the magnet pole
piece. Friction between the ball
and magnet pole piece causes
chaffing and pitting in the mylar
ater the magnet has been ener-
gized several times.
The pitted mylar then tends to
cradle the ball instead of releas-
ing it, after the magnet has been
energized.
SOLUTION
Use a sharp Exacto knife and
carefully cut away the mylar cov-
ering the magnet pole piece.
Problem Solved.
FAILURE ITEMS
Most of my failures have been
caused by a loose nut on the ro-
tating contact assembly, or bro-
ken wires and loose terminals. If
the metal armor jacket breaks,
you will have to strip and solder
all the incoming wiring due to
breakage.
The wiring is microfine and al-
most impossible to handle, but it
can be soldered.
The construction of these guns
are absurdly delicate and unsuit-
able for even gentle locations.
They will break early and often.
Be prepared.
