tor does. I do recommend using
metal brackets and/or car-
riage bolts to properly secure
the monitor.
Most games were made with
the front a little less than 24"
because they get the maxi-
mum yield from their wood.
This gives an inch side clear-
ance in the horizontal posi-
tion.
If you make a cardboard tem-
plate of the side view of the
monitor and hold it to the side
of your potential kit cabinet,
you can tell real quick ifit is a
good choice.
POTENTIAL
I haven't received my kit yet,
·~. but good potential cabinets are
Spy Hunter, Pole Position (if
you have a bad PCB), Sega
"Not all 2.S"" tltO"itors are the sat1te size!''
Turbo, Road Blasters (with
bad PCB). I like the idea of
installing them in a sit-down
cabinet. Street Rod seats are
available for about $100.00
from specialty stores or MAS
612/644-6811 in St. Paul. They
add a little more realism to the
game.
I also feel that these new 25"
monitors should be used for all
digitized graphic kits like Mor-
tal, NBA Jam and Gals Panic
II.
The Hantarex Polo monitor
can be purchased direct if your
distributor doesn't handle
them (708/843-7226).

Future scanning projects are planned by the International Arcade Museum Library (IAML).
