JUKEBOX BACKROUND Music
MODIFICATION

PROBLEM
CD 100 background music
when the jukebox is turned off
by a remote on/off volume con-
trol.
REASON
The accessory board you in-
stalled in the jukebox requires
SOLUTION
a signal low in order to ener-
gize relay Kl.
With the jukebox turned off
this can't happen -since the
only thing left on is the ampli-
fier.
To alleviate this, you need a
single pole, double throw
toggle switch, and some wire
(approximately 12 feet).
1. Mount the switch by drilling
a hole in the plastic hand ac-
cess above the dog house.
3. Splice a wire from pin 10 of
5. Splice a third wire to the
P2 and run it to the center pole
of your switch.
2. Clip in half the orange wire
of the jumper harness from P2
to the preamp connector.
4. Splice your next wire from
black wire going from pin 6 of
P2 to pin 6 of the preamp con-
nector, (make sure you still
have continuity between these
two connectors as this is your
ground source), and run it to
the other side pole of the
switch.
pin 13 of the preamp connector
and run it to one side pole of
the switch.
WHATYou'VE DoNE
FINALLY
This will provide a low to the
accessory board when the re-
mote switch is off.
Make sure to educate the
people at your location so that
they understand when the
jukebox is on, they must~
change the switch -so that
background is on only when
the jukebox is not playing.

Future scanning projects are planned by the International Arcade Museum Library (IAML).
