Re: "Flipper Links Stats",
which appeared in the June,
1993 issue of STAR -It-TECH
Journal.
PROBLEM
When you turn the game on, T-
REX won't calibrate. In test it
won't move left or right nor up
or down.
shopping the game or when
servicing the game on location
for other problems. For more
information read "Prince's
Corner" (SflJ June, 1993).
CURE
Preventative maintenance is
the key to eradicating flipper
link failures, either when
CAUTION
In addition, do not use the
metal links, they just cause
wear elsewhere. Also, if the
plunger bottom has a slight
burr -grind it off, otherwise
replace the plunger if it's
mushroomed.
CAUSE
T-REX is not in the "up" posi-
tion enough to close the top
switch.

SOLUTION
You have to lift the playfield
and turn the Up/Down motor
by hand until the top switch
closes, and you are back in ac-
tion.
NOTE
For some reason or another, if
the power is cut or the Slam
Switch is hit while T-REX is
bending over, then on power-
up he won't operate. Anytime
the game resets and T-REX is
off the top switch -he will not
alibrate andT-REX will then
£10t operate.
