FAST FIXES FOR THE FIELD
Bill Morris
Tri Area Amusement
Weirton, West Virginia
SUBJECT
NoTE
We have found a few tricks of
the trade for on-the-road bill
unit repairs that work very
well.
If the bill unit has a broken
part this Fast Fix won't help
you. The bill head, in this case,
would have to be changed.
PROBLEM
FOR ROWE BILL HEADS
Five years ago we used to send
bill units out to be serviced
only to have them come back 1
week later, be put back on loca-
tion and have the same prob-
lem 2 days after that.
FAST FIX
Our service people now repair
bill uni ts for some of our dis-
tributors. Fully 90% of all bill
units can be fixed with these
fast fixes.

Symptom: Speed dragging or
changing a little.
Solution: Spray a little of the
Diamond Liqui-Tool in the 4
nylon bushings then readjust.
Speed problem fixed.
Symptom: Slipping Belts
Solution: Apply a little Wild-
cat RC-88 on a rag. Press the
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
test button and apply the
cleaner to the belts with them
moving. Do this at the end of
the bill path. Removes the
green and restores the belt
grip. Sorry, will not work on
older black drive belts.
Symptom: Dirty Eyes
Solution: Remove the front top
emitter and clean it with the
glass cleaner.
Next take a Q-Tip with glass
cleaner on it and clean the
front collector through the
hole were the emitter goes.
Finally, clean the two middle
eyes with the Q-Tip -then put
the front emitter back on .
