WILLIAMS WHITEWATER BALL
POPPER PROBLEMS
SYMPTOM
Ball popper fails to deliver the
ball to the upper playfield af-
ter numerous attempts.
Ball Popper Problems
Divot Problem
GAUSE
There are a few possible
causes for this symptom. One
possible cause is the rubber
grommet mounted on the
plunger stop is broken or miss-
ing. This grommet holds the
plunger slightly higher into
the coil. If the grommet is
missing or damaged, it will
result in a weaker kick.
Another reason which we have
recently experienced for this
problem was that part of the
cliff scenery on the top of the
playfield was protruding into
the wire form ball deli very
chute and on occasion was
blocking the path of the ball.
As with any ball popper, the
longer the coil tries to kick the
ball, the hotter and weakerthe
coil becomes, so it is important
that any obstructions be re-
moved so as to allow good ball
delivery on the first attempt.
