A few people got back to me
about the Novus article in the
July'92 ST AR*TECH They SclY
that the stuff works greclt re-
moving scratches from their
CD's, but a few people haven't
been able to find the stuff.

PROBLEM
When servicing, be clWclre of im-
properly mclrked polclrity on the
PC boclrd for Cclpclcitor C48
(100 uf@ 25v, rcldicll). The silk-
screened mclrkings clre wrong.
SOLUTION
SOLUTION
Replclce with cl 15,000MH) @
25volt Cclpclcitor.
When reinstcllling this Cclpacitor
take note of the proper polar-
ity. The minus side goes to the
collector of transistor Q5.

NoTE
Keep in mind that this is the
polish that Williclms/Bally is now
recommending for their pinball
playf ields and ramps. The main
reason they recommend it is
because the #1 has no petro-
leum base and #2 has very little~
petroleum in it. If you use clean-
ers with a lot of petro in it they
