PROBLEM

Kickback is not shooting ball back
onto playfield 100% of the time or
kickback is shooting multiple
times to shoot ball back onto
playfield.
In the past, the main consider-
ations for installing a kit was a
monitor; was it vertically or hori-
zontally mounted.
No displays.
SOLUTION
Locate kickback coil under bottom
arch on left side of pinball. Move
~kickback coil towards backbox
until the coil bracket rests against
wood ridge.
Another consideration was the
size of the control panel. Would it
accomodate joysticks or two-
player games with a large amount
of buttons or even three-player
games.
PROCEDURE
Check all voltages on display
board and you will notice the ab-
sence of -15vdc.
SOLUTION
Replace VR2 (IN4 7 44A, 15v zener
diode). This device is open.

PROBLEM
Make sure that the coil bracket
does not interfere with arch cover.
Also make sure coil plunger hits
the middle of the ball.
NOTE
This modification has worked on
every Terminator 2 pinball we
have purchased.
The new big four-player games
need a large control panel and a
big 25" or 27" monitor.
To install these kits (Atomic
Punk, Wrestle Mania, Sunset
Rider, etc.) into an old 19" cabinet
is 1 udicrous.

Konami is releasing new software
for Sunset Rider to eliminate the
need for 4 coin slots. I'm certain
other factories will follow.
Most operators, I feel, will decide
to make new "Turtle" type control
panel for the top of a cut down
Gauntlet, Main Event and other
similar cabinets. A new 25" moni-
tor will fit into a Gauntlet cabinet,
I have been told.
ANOTHER PROBLEM AREA
The next problem is that some
new kits require four coin entries.
This may mean using a new four-
player door or an old cabinet with
two high low doors .
Be sure to check for number of
coin slots when installing your
new kit. Also, check with your
distributor for updates.
