On the revision 5.0 proms for this video game,
the slam tilt switch has no effect even though in
test mode the game knows about it and can
identify it.
Notice two lights below the start button, one red,
one green. These lights will be on all future Deco
pins starting with Back To The Future.
REASON
The red light on indicates that the game has a
stuck switch that is not critical to game play, but
if it's flashing, the stuck switch is a critical
switch and needs to be fixed right away!
INDICATIONS
Williams video slam switches invalidates coins
that might be coming through the acceptor for
some determinate period. That is so that credits
can't be "knocked up" by beating on the coin
door.
RESULT
That is the whole purpose of the switch! No
sounds are made so that players are not en-
couraged to trash the door. It will not reset the
game. Why kill a game in progress when all you
need to do is stop a little coin door hanky panky.

The green light on indicates that the playfield
needs to be cleaned because over 1500 games
have been played. Green light flashing indicates
that the playfield is really dirty (over 2250 games
have been played).
NOTE
The green "clean me" lamp is adjustable (EAd31)
from off to 2000. If set to off it will never go on.
Green light flashing indicates that 1.5 games x
the number EAd 31 is set to, have been played
without it being cleaned.

Once the game is cleaned, tell it you have done
so by using Ad 9. Setting this adjustment to
"Yes" will reset the "Clean Me" counter to 0.

Burnt trace on monitor PCB between capacitor
C36 and flyback transformer.

Repair trace and verify operation.
