NEW & IMPROVED
Data East Pinball announces the new
improved XR.-7 flipper link made of super
tough H.S. XR-7 plastic. Guaranteed to out-
last and out-perform our previous XR-6
plastic links.
PROBLEM
Thank you to Brian Sniegocki for this tip on
POW. Resolder the two 44-pin connectors on
the mother and daughter PCB if your POWis
having any trouble displaying the back-
ground scenery/ character information on
the screen (missing or snowy information).
IN PRODUCTION
We are currently installing the new link into
our Trip to Nostalgia Pinball Game, Time
Machine. The link can be identified by its S.P.
green color. Stop by your Data East Pinball
~istributor and take a look inside a Time
Machine. You'll like what you see.

NOTICE
For users of the Rowe 44BE Food Merchan-
diser and want to or have been using the
ShowMax feature.
~PDATE
There is now a new program available that
has been debugged for use with this ma-
chine. Contact your distributor and ask for
version # 1.831 for the 44BE ShowMax.
SOLUTION
These pins are slightly longer than most
fellow pins on the PCB, and on some boards,
did not get adequate solder automatically
applied during manufacture. Brian also
adds four, number 4, one-inch machine
screws with nuts to hold this connector pair
together with some applied pressure.
PLEASE
Next time, SNK, please make a one-piece
PCB. That request goes to every manufac-
turer, from every technician who ever had a
problem with a sub-board or ribbon or bal-
cony board. Thanks !
