PROBLEM
PROBLEM
A great deal of improvement is needed for the
Taito Continental Circuit S/D. One of the
more critical areas is the entire dash falling
off. This may cause the monitor glass to
come off also, breaking in the process. This
is hard on your customers legs! The reason
for all this is the way the control panel is
attached. Taito uses 2 little sticks stapled
with a little glue between the control panel
and the game. AT-nut is between the stick.
Bolts hold the stick to the game.
On early model Drew's Tiger Paw Cranes two
different sized belts were used.
~.
CURE
l. Bolt the sticks to the control panel.
2. Add new horizontal filler (lower monitor on
front).
3. Add L-bracket metal from top of control
panel to new plywood filler.
STEERING HUB
I have also had one steering hub break. The
steering wheel springs also break regularly.
Check them when you collect.
SOLUTION
Now the smaller of the two belts are used in
both places. This was done to prevent slip-
ping. The part number for the belt is
168AS568337. The cost is $1.30.

If your Atari Blasteroids game is suffering
from intermittent sound, the answer may be
a ROM update that is available from your
local distributor. Contact them for more
information and ordering procedures.
GAME SETTING TIP
Also note that on Dip switch A, position 2
(on) has 50 cents play with 25 continuation.
This is not a full 50 cent game but does quite
well on 50 /25 cent continuation.

The quality of the pressboard cabinets is
something that must be discussed.
