Sega Out Run Additional
Lubrication RequireIDent
Frank Rothauser, Customer Service Mgr.
Sega Industries
San Jose, California
Now that the Out Run Standard and Deluxe
units have been in use for an extended
period of time, we have identified an addi-
tional lubrication requirement for these
units.
(available from Sears, the same as used to
lubricate the mechanism). If the game does
not move smoothly from side to side, replace
these wheels and shafts. They are available
from your Sega distributor.
PROCEDURE
Refer to the drawing of the two wheels and
shafts to identify the location on the moving
cabinet assembly. Remove the shaft roller
(KR-1058) to release the wheel (601-5548).
Lubricate the bearing with Lithium grease
NOTE
These wheel bearings require lubrication at
the same interval as the motor mechanism,
which is every 7 500 plays or once per month,
whichever comes first.
