Kiddieride Hydraulic Leaks

PROBLEM
When it comes to operating hydraulic kiddi-
erides, one very big, major problem keeps
occurring - LEAKS and especially "O" rings
wearing out causing the leaks.
CAUSE
One of the biggest causes for this is that, for
some reason or another, operators are using
standard over-the-counter hydraulic (oil
based) fluid. Using this type of hydraulic
fluid seems to eat up "O" rings, plus cause
many other additional leaks.
SOLUTION
One very easy solution is to switch to water
base, non-flammable hydraulic fluid - a lot
ofleaks will go away. (We have been buying
it in 55 gallon drums and would be happy to
supply anyone who is having trouble getting
it, or who can't get it in small quantities).
WANTED
We need help, or alternative sources for
parts on ALL Italian hydraulic kiddierides,
plus we need schematics. Please call us with
any information at 309/788-0135 (CST).
Data East Vigilante Credit Pricing

PROBLEM
Credit pricing incorrect.
SYMPTOM
The Vigilante game's credit pricing indicated
on the screen is incorrect on certain coin
option settings. The screen text has the
"coins" and "credit" reversed. For example,
the 2 coins = 1 credit option will give 1 credit
for 2 coins, but the screen indicates "l Coin
- 2 Plays." (Only the screen text is wrong.)
The factory recommended setting of 1 coin =
1 credit displays and functions perfectly.
The problem occurs only when the coin
options are changed to multiple coins or
multiple credits (or both).
SOLUTION
Irem, the developer of Vigilante, has pro-
vided an updated program to correct this
problem. Data East will offer this update on
an exchange basis through its authorized
distributors. Contact yours for availability.
