PRCBLEM: Multi-ball not always releasing
correct nurrber of balls into play.
SOLUI'ION: 'Ihere are three areas involved
with this problem. (Production has
incorporated these changes into all models
except saJII)les. )
1) . The angle of the two legs which make
up the ball track.
2). The rollover wireform of the first
position cardholder switch (switch nearest
the ball shooter trough).
3). The adjustment of the first position
cardholder switch.
USING OFFSET SCREWDRIVER, MAINTAIN
A DISTANCE OF 7 /8" FROM TOP OF
TRACK PEAK TO TOP OF BALL RETURN FENCE.
FIGURE 1.
1). As in figure #1, raise the legs of
the ranp so that the peak of the angle is
7/8" from the top of the ball return
fence.
2). First position the cardholder switch
wireform: Depress the wireform with a
screwdriver. Be sure that the peak of the
wireform lowers approximately 1/16" below
the surface of the playfield before it
reaches its stop position. Using figure #2
as a reference, bend the wireform down
until it clears the surface of the board.
FIGURE 2.
3). Check the pressure of the long switch
blade on the first position cardholder
switch. Slowly allow a ball to activate
the wireform. The ball should easily roll
to its stop position resting on the ball
release lever. If the ball does not easily
roll onto the wireform, or is held back by
the wireform, back off on the pressure to
the long switch blade. However, insure
that the wireform is not allowed to bouncr-""
when the board is vibrated.
