company, has been furnishing game software
for Mattel lntellivision games for three years.
However, Mattel is expected to halt its
participation shortly.

RCA Corp. said it would continue to produce
and market videodiscs for its "CED" system
as long as there was "reasonable demand"
from the more than 550,000 consumers who
own the videodisc players. The company has
decided to phase out production of the video-
disc player after losing $580 million on the
product since it was introduced three years
ago.
