E Z SLATE LIFTER
Fritz Bentler of Springfield, Illinois, an operator
of 35 years, has invented a tool that will be of
use to operators and distributors in the shop as
well as on location. The trade name is E Z
Slate Lifter by Bentler. The tool is portable
and facilitates the raising of the slate from the
pool table bed for recovering. This is a one-
man operation. The lift fits all sizes of coin-
operated tables.
The unit may be purchased through one of
the many music and games distributors that are
already selling the tool. Many distributors have
the tool set up on a table in their showrooms. If
no authorized distributors are available in your
area, you may place your order by calling Fritz
collect at 217 /516-7060. Mail orders are to go
to Fritz Bentler, 1644 Homewood Ave.,
Springfield, ILL 62704.
Bentler has been selling the tool for about
six months and have many satisfied customers.
The AMOA show in New Orleans was their
first trade show. It proved to be very successful.
