The following are price change instructions for old Rock-Olas up to and including the 470
model (1977).
STEP 1.
Remove keepers first - then remove all other
attaching parts. Remove frame and ratchet and save
the spring.

Note 1.

Accumulator assembly must be removed from
the phonograph or wall box for ease of new
ratchet installation.
Note 2.
The slug rejector in the phonograph and wall
boxes must be aqjusted to reject nickels and

dimes.
Note 3.
Should it be necessary to return to a JOt pricing base, replace the original 25t ratchet
by following steps 1 thru 4. Rejector must now accept nickels and dimes. Also insert proper
tabs in pricing windows.

STEP 3.
Replace the frame plate - concentrate on
positioning the brass plates into the frame
slots first. Replace screw "A" and nut "B"
- do not tighten.
STEP4.
Place shaft " C" into the frame plate and
hold as shown until spring anchor is
positioned in frame holes "D". (See Step 3.)
Tighten nut "B" and secure other attaching
parts.
Insert and crimp C washer
STEPS.
Lift fingers of spring anchor ¼ inch to add tension to springs.
STEP6.
Adjust brass tab on 25 ¢ wheel for four quarter pricing.
STEP7.
Adjust brass tab on 50¢ (middle) wheel for case half dollar.
STEPS.
Change pricing card.
You simply need to purchase the proper ratchet wheel instead of an entire kit.

STEP 2.
Rotate ratchet clockwise until credit switch
contacts open. Position new ratchet as
shown and attach spring to master ratchet
stud.
