Boards are interconnected with six 23-pin
ribbon connectors 'and two 18-pin ribbon connectors.
Bookkeeping - Switch located on front door ( fire
button can be used to clear all totals)
Options/ Adjustments - Grune option switches are
located on ZPU board. In addition, there are dip
switches on the VFB-1000, SB-1000, and BSC-1000.
These switches are primarily for troubleshooting
purposes. For proper settings, see "Frenzy" game
manual and board schematics.
being the main logic board, the SB and VSU as being
the sound board, and the PS-1000 and LM323 as
being the system power supply. (The RCR-1000 is
nothing more than an input/output buffer board, similar
to static boards used by other manufacturers.)

Self Test
VSU-1000 - Voice Synthesizer Unit
A thorough self test is programmed into the design of
"Frenzy". During power up, the complete system tests
itself, in a similar fashion to Bally and Stem pinballs.
The results of this test can be visibly determined by the
flashing led on the ZPU or the tone from the speaker.
The following chart should aid in determintng which
board is the cause of the problem:
PS- I 000 - Power Supply
RCR-1000 - Resistor/Capacitor Assembly
The large number of boards are what make this system
unique. However, they can be grouped together in what
might be thought of as the ZPU, VFB, and BSC as
