SEEBURG PRICE-SETTING INSTRUCTIONS (PART 1)

SEEBURG CREDIT UNIT PRICING BOARD SETTINGS (Black Box Machines)
(LS-3 TO STD4 AND ALL DEC WALL BOXES)
EXPlANATION OF SETTINGS:
Sc ..... steps per nickle
1 0c ..... steps per dime
BON US 1 ..... additional steps per 25c in change
25c ..... steps per quarter
BON US 2 ..... additional steps per 50c in change
50c ..... steps per half dollar
$1 ..... steps per dollar bill
There is no $1 BON US to raise mixed change to the dollar bill level.
SINGLE LEVEL ..... steps required to play a single record
ALBUM LEVEL ..... steps required for an album
SINGLE DEBIT ..... steps subtracted per single selected
ALBUM DEBIT ..... steps debited per album
BONUS RESET OUT
BONUS RESET IN Connect together to reset bonus logic every 25c.
(otherwise, bonus logic will automatically reset at the $1 level)
Connect these together when 50c bonus is not used.

NOTE: 25c in mixed coinage will always trip bonus 1 EVEN IF NO STEPS ARE GIVEN FOR THE INDIVIDUAL COINS!
EX.: If singles are set at 1 step (single level is level 1) and quarters are one step (one play for 25c) then nickels and dimes must
be set to zero steps each, but the BON US 1 will still work. lfBON US 1 is setto 1 step, then 25c in mixed coins will give one
step even though nickels and dimes alone give nothing.
NOTE: TO AVOID ERRORS IN SETTING THE PRICING BOARD, REMOVE ALL DIODES AND JUMPER WIRES FROM THE
BOARD AND START FRESH.
SEEBURG PRICING BOARD SETTINGS (Black Box machines)
Settings are done by soldering jumper wires and diodes on the pricing board.
All settings which reauire adding (or subtracting) credit unit steps are done with diodes.
Connect the diodes across the card perpendicular to the metal edge, with the positive end of the diode pointing to the
metal edge.
All other settings are done with wire jumpers (not diodes) and are usually up and down the board (vertical) rather than
horizontal.
