sity of achievement that the dealer handling this line
of goods is able to attract the attention of buyers
from every home and home life and society.
This condition of manufacture has brought unusual
activity to the Wurlitzer and Wurlitzer-controlled
factories and at a time when activity in the music in-
dustries and particularly in piano making has been
more or less depressed.
So, referring especially to the Wurlitzer factories at
De Kalb, 111., it is an interesting condition to record
that they have been working out there their full force,
full time, and some overtime since the last week in
September, and today are behind in shipments.
This is a remarkable record and is proof positive
that Wurlitzer produced pianos are moving forward
to meet a rather steady demand.
A thought in this story comes to mind that the
dealer who is not "tied up" in the line of pianos he
handles may consider and find profitable, which sug-
gestion is that if the various Wurlitzer branch houses
scattered from coast to coast over the United States
and various independent and individual concerns han-
dling Wurlitzer instruments are succeeding in busi-
ness, as reports show they are, would the Wurlitzer
not be a profitable line to handle by many dealers
who are not now satisfactorily established in their
agencies.
In this connection we beg to refer to the two-page
Apollo spread in this issue of Presto-Times.
