PIANO MAN'S WIFE
WRITES VERSE
Knnna S. Hafsoos, wife of E. W. Hafsoos, of the
Flanner-Hafsoos music house, Milwaukee, Wis., has
written some beautiful sentiments in verse about her
mother. The slogan of Flanner-Hafsoos is "Wiscon-
sin's greatest musical instrument house," and to all
appearances this claim is made upon verity, as they
carry a line of pianos including the Sohmer, Kurtz-
mann and Brinkerhoff, besides a complete stock of
small goods, band instruments, string instruments, not
to speak of radio in which they have an extensive
trade.
Mrs. Hafsoos' poem follows:
MY MOTHER
Of all the blessings God to me has given,
One stands out alone, supreme from Heaven;
Like perfume rare, more sweet than any other,
This wondrous blessing was and is—my mother.
Her mortal life she lived for many a year,
In fortitude and love, with vision clear;
So patient, kind and true, there's not another
Can equal quite the sweetness of—my mother.
For her no task too hard, no day too long,
A life of loving service was her song.
To make of all mankind a brother;
Unselfish ever, was—my mother.

But not finished, for in me it lives again;

My joys, my sorrows and my every care;
