RMA LEGISLATIVE SERVICE
A cooperative information service, designed to pro-
tect radio interests in state and local legislation, has
been established by the RMA.
With the assistance of Frank D. Scott, legislative
counsel at Washington for the RMA, the legislative
committee will take necessary action in conjunction
with state and. local radio jobbers' and dealers' local
organizations, to safeguard the interests of radio man-
ufacturers and distributors in connection with local
legislation.
The legislative committee is now taking appropriate
action in connection with "serial number" bills pend-
ing before the Missouri, Illinois and other legisla-
tures, and also in opposition to a bill in Maine pro-
posing a license tax on receiving sets.
